The holidays can be a stressful time for many for a variety of reasons. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to thrive through the holidays instead of just surviving the holidays? I am not talking about making monumental changes here but if you did a few simple things that kept your energy and your vibration higher, you would feel much better physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
1. Play music that uplifts you. Music is very powerful and the right kind of music raises your vibration. Any kind of music that makes you happy when you listen to it is beneficial. The caveat to this is heavy metal music.
Even if heavy metal makes you feel happy, it has a diminishing effect on the body. Masaru Emoto (The Hidden Messages in Water) demonstrated the powerful effect of music on water crystals and found the same to be true with the water in your body.
Classical music, songs with a love theme (but not heartbreak), songs that generate a sense of community in whatever form all elevate your energy and your vibration.
If you are hosting the family dinner, put on the music that will make you your best energetically. Allow that energy to elevate you. If you are going to someone else’s place for a meal, listen to your happiest music in the car on the way there. Obviously, if your happy music makes others around you crazy, you will need to temper it.
I will add Tip #2 tomorrow.
